MEET THE CREW

Captain

MARISA QUEREDA

I am a Spanish girl called Marisa Quereda. I am 34 years old and I come from Valencia, a city in the East Coast of the Iberian Peninsula.

I have always had a special connection with nature, especially with the sea. That´s why when I turned 25, I decided to put my efforts into getting a nautical degree. Although I had previously worked in a department store, which implied being near my family and economic stability, I decided to move to Alicante to study a degree of Nautical for 2 years. During that period, I enjoyed discovering the secrets of Navigation, Astronomy, Mechanics, Knots, etc.

My first job was in a gas platform called “Castor”, where I learned the real meaning of working in this sector, which involved hard work and discipline.

Later on, I sailed around the Spanish coast. Thanks to all this practice, I got a great job opportunity; I sailed around the coast of Florida with a Spanish Galleon ship replica.

After all these experiences, I´ve got the opportunity of working in yachts. I consider myself an optimist, cheerful, sociable person, and a good friend of his friends, willing to help in everything that is in my hand.

I am passionate about nature, animals, music, reading and all kinds of sports. I like working as a captain on charter yachts because I feel fulfilled when I see a smile, a look of surprise or a thank you, making people feel good and discovering the magical places of the mediterranean sea.

ELENA ESCRIBANO

My name is Elena. I was born 33 years ago in the center of Spain, but I always knew my place was by the sea.

During the last 5 years, I’ve been travelling around the world, exploring cultures, meeting people and falling in love with the exotic side of life. Meanwhile, I discovered one of my passions: diving.

I’m devoted to the art of navigation. Working on a boat allows me to stay in touch with the sea and meet new people very often. I love what I do, making sure our guests maximize their experience on and off board.
